Concordia Lutheran is dedicated to providing quality training and continuing education to individuals and organizations in our community. We provide training to groups of all sizes and are happy to offer special group rates on tuition.
“Certification” The pastor of Concordia Lutheran is an authorized Instructor able to certify participants in their chosen courses based upon the standards of the American Red Cross. The certification issued will depend upon the curriculum that you choose.

Concordia Lutheran provides the equipment and expert instruction needed for your group training at a date and time that’s convenient for you. We understand that everyone has a budget and we will work with businesses and organizations to help you meet your training goals.
Non-Profit Community Service Organizations
Discounted tuition rates are offered to eligible non-profit community service organizations (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, churches, schools, etc.). We are happy to train both the adults and the youth in these organizations. To find out if your organization qualifies for discounted tuition rates please talk with our instructor.

A blended learning course includes an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection.
When scheduling a training course, you can discuss with the instructor the training format options available for the curriculum you would like.

This course discusses workplace practices to avoid the transmission of many diseases by centering discussions on universal precautions. Though the presentation focuses on prevention, it offers background information on most common diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. How infections occur, personal protective equipment, workplace practices and controls and an overview of cleanup procedures are also discussed.
This course will teach you the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and how to care for a person having a severe allergic reaction, including how to administer epinephrine using an auto-injector device.
This course will teach you the to identify the signs and symptoms of an asthma attack, how to care for a person having an asthma attack, including the use of a metered-dose inhaler, and how to report an asthma attack and the care you provide to the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) person when they arrive.
The First Aid course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of emergencies involving adults, children and infants. It will provide you with the techniques necessary to properly render aid in an emergency situation. This comprehensive program covers the major areas of first aid, including: safety and universal precautions, breathing problems, allergic reactions, fainting, diabetes, seizures, burns, bleeding, muscle, bone, joint, head, neck, and spine injuries, and much more!
Participants will learn the techniques for child and infant CPR and First Aid. Also included in this class is a module on child safety, obstructed airway management and rescue breathing.
This class introduces the student to cardiac risk factors and signs and symptoms of a heart attack, stroke and cardiac arrest. Participants will learn adult one-rescuer CPR, rescue breathing, mouth-to-mouth and mouth-to-mask ventilation and airway obstruction management.
This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. If you choose the Blended Learning course, there will be an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours 5 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. If you choose the Blended Learning course, there will be an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
Participants will learn the techniques of adult one-rescuer CPR and the use of an Automated External Defribillator (AED). Rescue breathing and mouth-to-mask ventilations will also be covered.
Responding to Emergencies (RTE) is designed to be a semester-long First Aid/CPR/AED course featuring lecture, video, simulated emergency situations, discussion and hands-on skill practice. RTE is perfect for high school and college-level students in Health and Physical Education, Kinesiology, Exercise and Sports Science, and Athletic Training departments to learn to handle the full range of emergencies, large and small!
In addition to First Aid course, we also offer a Wilderness & Remote First Aid courses. Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, our wilderness first aid certification course covers advanced skills, like primary and secondary assessments, head/brain, neck and spinal injuries, hypothermia, heat-related illness, altitude-related illness, burns, allergies and anaphylaxis, bone and joint injuries, wounds and wound infection, and more. Upon successful completion of the class, you'll receive a two-year certification.
